Privacy policy

Who we are
Skuvera is a product data tool for Shopify merchants, operated by an independent developer (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data we handle, why we handle it, and the choices you have.
Your product files
Free tools read and check your files in your browser. File contents are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. This applies whether or not you're signed in, including when you fix issues and download the fixed file. The converter remembers your last column mapping in your browser's local storage. If you save a mapping template (Pro), we store only the template name, your file's column names and the conversion rules on our servers, never the contents of your file.
AI suggestions
AI suggestions are optional and need an account. Before anything is sent, we list the exact values involved, such as a product title or an image file name. Only those values are sent to our server and then to Modelo de DeepSeek (los datos se procesan y almacenan en China continental) to create suggestions. Skuvera doesn't store them; we only record how many items you sent, to apply usage limits. DeepSeek handles the data under its own privacy policy.
Your account
You can sign in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email address. With Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. With an email code, we receive only your email address. We use this information to create and identify your account and to contact you about the service, such as important changes or billing. To keep your account secure, we also store your sign-in sessions, including the IP address and browser information of each session. You can see these sessions and sign them out in your account settings.
Usage records
For AI suggestions, we record the time of each request, the number of items, the type of task and the number of tokens used. We use these records to apply usage limits and to understand our costs. They don't include the content you sent.
Payments
Paid plans are sold through Creem, which acts as the merchant of record and processes payments, invoices and sales tax. When you start a checkout, we send Creem your email address and your Skuvera account ID so the subscription can be linked to your account. Creem handles your payment details under its own privacy policy, and we never see or store your full card details. We receive only what we need to manage your plan, such as your Creem customer ID, plan, subscription status and billing dates.
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you signed in, one to remember your language, and one to remember how you last signed in so we can highlight that option next time. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Before sending a sign-in code, we may ask Cloudflare Turnstile to check that the request comes from a person; it processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details for that check.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate. It doesn't use cookies or identify you. It records the page you visit (without query parameters other than campaign tags), the referring site, and your country, browser and device type.
Error reports
When something goes wrong on the site, we send a technical error report to Sentry, our error monitoring provider, so we can fix it. A report contains the error message, where in our code it happened, the page path, and your browser, operating system and approximate location. It never includes your product files, the values you send for AI suggestions, your cookies or your account details.
Sharing
We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run Skuvera: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Google (sign-in), Resend (sign-in emails), Cloudflare (security checks on the sign-in page), Creem (payments), Sentry (error reports), and DeepSeek for AI suggestions you choose to send. They may process data only to provide their services. We may also disclose data when the law requires it.
Where data is processed
Our website and database run in the United States. AI suggestions are created by Modelo de DeepSeek (los datos se procesan y almacenan en China continental). Your data may therefore be processed outside your country or region, where data protection laws may differ from yours.
How long we keep data
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists, and sign-in sessions expire automatically. When you delete your account in your account settings, we delete your account data, sign-in sessions and usage records right away and remove them from backups within 30 days. If you ask us by email instead, we do the same within 30 days. Information we must keep to meet legal obligations, such as payment records, is kept as required.
Your rights
You can view, export or delete your account data yourself in your account settings. You can also ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to stop using it for a specific purpose. Email us at mrwangdev@gmail.com from the address linked to your account, and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Skuvera is a business tool and isn't intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We'll post the new version on this page and update the date above. If a change significantly affects how we use your data, we'll tell you by email or on the site.
